Today, on the occasion of World Disability Day, our institution organized a series of vibrant cultural programs and activities to celebrate and uplift our disabled children. The day began with an engaging rally that witnessed enthusiastic participation from our children. Some of the children danced energetically, while others showcased their creativity through on-wheel performances. To ensure their comfort, all participants were provided with white caps, Mazaa fruity drinks, checklets, chips packets, and water bottles.
During the rally, our children displayed a heartwarming gesture by tying friendship bands to the people on the road, symbolizing inclusivity and spreading a message of unity. The rally was supported by the kind cooperation of the Behala Police Station, which assigned officers to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the event. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their invaluable service.
Post-rally, our children relished a delicious biryani meal, which added to the joyous spirit of the day. This was followed by a comprehensive eye checkup organized for all the disabled children. Spectacles were distributed to those in need, enhancing their well-being and ensuring access to essential health services.
The entire celebration was a resounding success, leaving our children, staff, and attendees with unforgettable memories. It not only highlighted the talents and resilience of our disabled children but also fostered awareness and compassion within the community. We are proud to have implemented this event successfully and are deeply gratified by the happiness it brought to our children.
We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in making this celebration a remarkable one and look forward to organizing more such events in the future.
